Look at the platform number. Platform 4.4.0.315 is the radio that was in 398. If you see 4.4.0.314, you have the radio from 415.

Thanks it's the same 398 then. I thought there was a way to tell tho if you came in cold and had no previous clue about the other os. I thought I'd heard how to find it, inside the internal file info, but been looking and don't see anything yet. It's the same as the previous version we all had. Running very smooth.

underway, I was using that one of Shane's also then went to the 431 that came around a couple days ago and found it to be just a bit smoother than the hybrid. This 431 is the same as the one I loaded the other day. But to answer your question: Is it noticibly diff from 424? Some,(smoother imo) not alot. Is it any diff than the 431 from the other day? Can't say it is. Just as fine. 431 is the best os to date imho. You should load it at your convenience, just to be up to date and see for yourself. It's not ground breaking. WAIT ALERT: I think I see, yes,yes, there, right there, it is, it is! Oh crap it's not. Thought I saw column view for just a minute there.

I didn't expect any thing diff than the other 431. No reason. It's very smooth, but so was that. I hope JayDee will get her new bold now also. Thats what this release is good for.
The theme builder will be the next cool thing to come down the pike.

EDIT- After further review, overall this is snappier and real fluid. The browser is what it is, I don't think it's bad. I'm liking this so far.

Very smooth here. Some hiccups from the browser, but after a few more BP it's good to go. So far, almost as good as Shane's 398 hybrid. I'll give it a day or so now and look it over again.

+1 much more responsive than 415 for me, especially the browser. No spinning clocks when opening BBM, but the lag when clicking the Manage Connectons bar and Notifications bar is still there.

I guess that's a "feature" since it's been in every BB6 build.

Go for it, I think that is the right way to go. Since vzw has not officially released this, you will have to sit on it for what I hope is no more than a very few days before you can load up the cannon and call them.

Hope you have better luck with this than I did.
