Yep this "rambler" thread really does have it all. Hybridic addiction discussion, Bartender help, Advice for the lovelorn, OCD therapy, Comedy, fun and games, guys/gal the list is endless.

Speak of the devil, my own OCD that is, I had to check out 5/1030 just for grins. Got bored while waiting for verizon to cough up a newer hairball for us all. Very nice for 5. It's browsing fun for sure. I can load CB at least 5 times faster than on 6.
I like 6, just that 5 does have it's positives points.

Personally, I think we'd be hysterical on tv!
We could all give advice from our unique perspective...
and Paul could also be in charge of the promos for the show. King of the links could find us some great advertising posters!

We could have guest spots from RRyoung, Bad Larry, F2 could be the weatherman since he spends his time in the snow and in caves
Of course, if we DID get on tv, Yester would need a cut of our proceeds since he lets us operate here.

We've all been where your at, mainly because we're all older and have more life experience. It comes with the territory. When you're at your age there is a tremendous learning curve going on. No matter how this plays out it is a life learning experience and there will be another one coming along that'll blow the doors off this one. Trust me on that. It's how we grow. That being said, I'd like to close with one word "choices". You can choose to deal with this in one way or another. Only going by what you've said, I think the choice I'd make would be to follow JayDee's advice and let her go while staying supportive of her decision, which is her "choice". Time will tell and as was very well said already, "things happen for a reason". There could be something else coming along. Remain optimistic. Life is full of surprises and they generally come along when you least expect it.

Just got back from her house, and it was another sad filled night. Thanks for the advice everyone! She asked me if I wanted to go with her and her family when they drop her off (a 9-10 hour drive). Would it be a good or bad move going? Right now I'm picturing a really sad goodbye then a long depressing drive home.

I have the lists of two people without leaks and two who DO have leaks.

So far as I can see, the only apps we ALL (4 of us) have in common are:
QL
Poynt
Berry Buzz
BerryWeather
BBM
3 of the four have ScoreMobile

Also interesting to note: of the two BIG MEMORY LOSERS, me and arcadence,
the ONLY apps we have in common are the ones listed above!
Everything else we have is different!

Wishing for the next release is a double edged sword While it may fix somethings, it may also break others. Now for users like jaydee, plugging the memory leak is a welcomed fix. However, if it breaks Bedside Mode, for example, not such a welcomed upgrade for me.

I am looking forward to the vzw release. I think it will be a higher version and I hope it will be just as solid as 415 and hopefully better, but you never know. I'm not having any issues with 415.

Only went app-less with several reincarnations of 333. Never 415 official.

My friend had a mean memory leak with BerryWeather installed, and once he cut the cord the leak was gone!
