Agree with you! I should hit Verizon any day now...probably one day next week at this point. There have been too many "coming soon" notices, but I still don't look for Verizon to do a MAJOR advertising blitz on the 9650; they will want to keep the focus on the Incredible as well as other upcoming Blackberry models. For the 9650, they already know will sell well do to the strong following with little or no advertising....stay tuned

I'm definitely thinking a quiet release.....we'll pop on to the opening Crackberry page and see the announcement....I am still thinking they will announce it 2 days before they release it like they did the Storm. Hopefully Monday Announcement with a Wednesday in store or preorder.

I am with you! If you want the Bold 9650, keep following this thread; otherwise, there is plenty to look elsewhere. Get the feeling all of those "nay sayers" and ones tracking the thread counting just cannot stand it until the Verizon releases the Bold 9650 as they will be in the store the day it is released.

prob just a deal they worked out with RIM but when vzw pushed it back in feb because of an os setback that agreement went out the window.

Since Red is CDMA not allowing wi/fi calls I am sad to say I will now stop waiting for the 9650. I will remain with 9700 (tmo) as small as it is. Blackberry is the only way to go so I will tell myself I am happy w/the 9700. Good Luck with the 9650 when it gets here. Thx.

Let's just say is this phone doesn't just show up at Verizon sometime next week, or even the 24-26th, I will be surprised.

Again, I think everyone is expecting alot of media blitz like the Incredible, but keep in mind, like the Tour, the Bold 9650 is like the next generation on an already solid phone.
