just curious, why is there more discussion about possibly considering the HTC incredible over the tour2/bold than there is discussion about the nexus one when it comes? ive been waiting on the 9650 a while now but if anything draws me away it will be the nexus.

The Incredible appears to basically be an updated Nexus One with a downclocked processor to conserve battery life, an 8 megapixel camera, and, the big one, an optical trackpad instead of a trackball (where have we heard that last one before?).

Last week, the rumor was that the Incredible would hit Verizon in about two weeks, but then VZW didn't announce it at the CTIA as expected, so those rumors turned to smoke. At this point, the best guess I've seen is early summer for the Incredible, and the best guess I've come across for the 9650 is between now and never.

read about the iphone possibly coming to VZW in the summer. i also read that Apple's partner for the CDMA device isn't scheduled to start manufacturing them until september. regardless of when/if it comes to VZW, i'm with tourboy and don't think i'd get it.

Rumors may be just that. AT&T is negotiating with Apple to extend their exclusive right to the iPhone. I suspect their recent expansion of their network is designed to make Apple happy and will probably result in an extension of the contract.

That's fine with me, I don't have any desire for an iPhone.

The new tour 2 is going to have OS 6.0??? If so I'd definately get it. And i dont know about the nexus or the htc incredible and I know I wouldnt get an iphone even if verizon started to sell it.

I wouldn't expect 6.0 out the door given 5.0 for the 9630 is just being released this week.
