I hope I am wrong but I think this is the big BB Messenger release that has been talked about the last couple days. Supposedly it'll effect everyone that has the updated BBM chat.

whose going to be disappointed if they announce that the tour2/bold has been completely scrapped in all forms, and the only new BB coming soon will be the Bold slider? (not including pearls or whatever)

Friend of mine had a conference call with a RIM rep today. The RIM rep confirmed the Bold 9650 will be released mid-late APRIL for Verizon. It will be released with PTT as well.....

I just noticed on the Verizon web site that the current Tour 9630 without the camera is out of stock. Not a big deal I know, but it does show that they are getting to end of their merchandise, and perhaps looking to stock up on the newer model.

The Tour w/o camera has been out of stock before, it doesn't mean anything...

If you've learned anything from this thread it SHOULD be that every prediction so far has been wrong but here's one that I'll bet money on:

the promo ended at the end of last month also, and they just started it over again. it is a never ending cycle for verizon.
