Well, the Government can wait till THEY GET my refund!!!!! Not anywhere near as painful as last year - solar tax credit, fortune in sales tax on new car and furnace all helped this years' bottom line.

So besides the photoJojo lenses I bought, I also ordered an olliclip which will be here tomorrow. It's a clip with lenses that fits the plain Z without a case. I can't wait to try it out.

So here's my review:

Seriously, its been a crazy week. Meetings and extra stuff to do since I got back from vacation. However, VZW made me an offer I couldn't refuse and I ordered the Z30...to use for a year on the edge program.

Unlimited calling, texting and 10GB of data.
rebates for every line we upgrade. So it's not costing me anything to use it. In a year's time, I have to upgrade. So hopefully BB will have the Z50 or the successor to the Z30 out by then!!!!

The Z30 is larger than the Z10, the screen is very clear, very bright. The colors are more vivid. The sound is amazing. Louder, sharper. The battery is larger so naturally it last longer.

Took it off the wireless charger at 6 am. At 7:40 i am down to 42%. Talked on two phone calls of about 20 minutes each. BBM, Twitter ALL DAY. No wifi at work yet. (IT guy hasn't added me to the wifi) CB posting like only a postwh0re could. Still at 42.

The wireless charging is amazing. Flat little device (sold separately) on my nightstand. Just set the phone down and beep. It makes a connection and starts charging. Very fast. Under two hours to go from 20% to 100%.

In conclusion, I would definitely recommend the Z30 to anyone who can afford to buy it. It is extremely thin and not that awful big that I can't use it comfortably. The screen and colors are amazing and so is the sound.

Haven't tried the radio yet, nor Miracast.

I don't think I am entitled to any special deals. A verizon loyalty guy called this week. We went over plans but none were cheaper than my GRANDFATHERED stuff and I would lose my UNlimited data!

And I can tell you, with Madame X driving me crazy right now - there's NO FAMILY in my future!!!!

The wireless charging only works on the verizon model from what I understand. I purchased a wireless charger. I will attach a pic here. It cost like 35 bucks. There are more expensive site and less expensive.



I have the link in my amazon cart. You plug the charger in. Pictured above. And set the phone down on it. And it beeps once and that's it. It's charging. Pick it up, it stops. Put it down it beeps. I love it.


It's really thin and almost any Wireless charger will work with the z30. I did nothing to the phone to make it work. Just plug the thing in and lay the phone down. Bingo

Today, I found her in my driveway vacuuming and washing her OLD car so she can sell it. It had been parked in front of my house but not used for a while so it would not start. We had to call the AAA!

I will probably fall back to it when the year is up if nothing new has arrived. Or maybe I will pay off what I owe on the Z30 and keep IT. We will see.....

I just tried the FM radio feature on this phone. Wow!!! Works great! You need to use headphones and OMG! I can get all the local stations on FM!!!!!!!!!!!

I had that same discussion with VZW this week. Same result too. The new plan for all seven of my lines, with Edge and it's discount on one line (that's all I'm currently eligible for), will still cost almost $80 more than the $375 ($325 + taxes/fees) I'm paying now with my grandfathered plan and discounts.

Your Z30 sounds great JayDee. I'll keep my eye out for a deal.

So this edge plan is perfect. And we are getting the rebate on each line we switch.

My son has not done anything with his phone. His upgrade was due in December and he interestingly enough can stay on the old plan.
