    So, Yesterday sh*t hit the fan on twitter:

    Apparently, if you have MacOS with High Sierra and you did not set the root password beforehand, your system is highly vulnerable, allowing ANYONE (including remote access!) to gain root access to your machine.

    you just use the user name as root, hit enter/login few times as voila!

    Funny enough, this issue has been posted on the Apple support forum few weeks ago:

    Aple Mac does it better than you , you shouldn't do that and expose them ! its so pity , not devices costs 1000dolars congrats sheeps go and buy it !

    Oopsie... yep, I read the story.

    Still on El Cap here... :-D

    Ubuntu had a bug years ago that left the user / root password in the installation log file. But surely this is another level, Apple... ouch!
