There's a dog that lives outside our hostel. He limps and is a little unfriendly. People decided to name him 'Blackberry' because his limp is serious, and he might die soon. They think he reflects the state of the company.

Being a dog lover, I befriended him. Eventually, when he trusted me enough, I took a day off and took him to a vet. He fixed the limp right up and the dog is much better now.

I've decided to keep calling him Blackberry because
-I love him
-He's pretty cool and a very handsome dog
-He's not for everybody

Their hate for BlackBerry may have been triggered by me...

When I got my Q5(after being on BBOS5 for more than 2 years)...I was too excited. Most of the day was spent showing everyone BB10's cool features. When 10.2 came out, I ended up missing the most important class of my semester(obviously) cause I was too excited installing it and playing with it. My friends were really upset, and a bit concerned :P

So I may have overdone with promoting BlackBerry :P They were probably calling him BlackBerry to spite me. I'm not ashamed, I consider myself an unappointed ambassador. If in the end I've managed people to convert to BB10 then it's worth it :P

That dog is BLACKBERRY. The "limp" was the last 3 years of virtual irrelevance. The "vet" is their new CEO John Chen! Woof. That my friends is the real dog story here. BLACKBERRY RULED AND THEY WILL AGAIN!
