    can someone give me a link to version 3.1.7 and not 3.1.8 because when i downloaded 3.1.8 and tried to install it and my antivirus acts up... it detects an adware. take note the site ive downloaded it from is cnet.com. thanks

    CNet has older versions usually.
    Just disable your antivirus. What antivirus are you using anyway? If you say Norton that's your problem right there.

    No..I've looked at cnet but no older versions there.. ( just microsoft security essentials..

    Temporarily disable your anti-virus software's autoprotect shield or function, install the software and then once complete, re-enable the protection. If your PC messes up, use MalwareBytes to run a full scan to rid any malware.
