The NBA dunk contest pretty much sucks now. But NBA All-Star week always
brings out the best dunks of the past. Does anyone remember this dunk that
Vince Carter had in international competition? This is absolutely sick. He
literally jumped over this guy. I still can't believe it when I watch it.

i'm a fan of UNC basketball (vince's alma mater) and when he was there he was overshadowed by antawn jamison but i knew vince was waaay more crucial than jamison! go heels!

I actually think that Antawn was (and is) more fundamentally sound that Vince. I think it has shown over time.

But yes, that was a phenomenal play. The guy he dunked over was supposed to play for the Knicks... that deal was nixed after those Olympics.
