Ok so I won a Ipod touch 2nd gen (16g) at work, tho I would never have bought one. So I'm figuring to give it to my daughter or selling it if she doesn't want it she's 11 so she may not be into an Ipod, and my 3 year old son would just destroy it ha ha. So I was wondering about Itunes if it slows down the pc or anything, and can I put tracks from her CDs to the ipod or does it have to be purchased content from itunes? What is your overall opinion of the touch if you have one? I haven't had a chance to play with it because I guess you have to sync it first with itunes which I never downloaded yet. Thanks

I have the 32. I love ipod in general. Having issues with the typing which is why I have a physical keyboard on my phone. I don't have issues with i tunes on my pc but I do have my music library in an external book.

I have the 8gb and it is an amazing device (it could never replace my bb though. ). Itunes doesn't slow down my computer at all. I get all my music from limewire and it is very easy to import music into Itunes. But make sure you get a case for it. The back scratches very easily, but the glass screen can take a lot of abuse.
