    I don't. Only bedside mode with calls so I can be notified in case of an emergency. After all, that's one of the primary uses of a phone, right?

    Wish the bedside mode has the features where allows contacts in a "white list" still able to get through. In case of emergency.

    Nope. I use a feature called Blocking Mode that silences my notifications, and has an Allowed list for callers I find important.

    They had that in BB7, an app called Puzzed...how I loved that app. Turn off your phone...go to sleep...the phone will turn on at the time your alarm is set for and sound the alarm of your choice, but you couldn't turn off the alarm until you solved a puzzle...this was to make sure you were truly awake. Man I miss that app.

    My phone has to be on 24/7 for work. At night it's on phone only mode with bedside mode running.

    That's not the best answer for that. The bedside mode silent your phone and when you wake up it is back again with all notifications back exactly the way you left before putting your phone to sleep. It also allows you to set if you want to be awake in case there is an incoming call or important incoming calls or turn radio off to save battery. It's a shortcut with some great tweaks available. I'm so used to it.
