On Drake's (rapper) MTV special, it showed how he writes his lyrics on his blackberry, then reads from it in the recording booth. He can't use pen and pad because his "thumbs were made for blackberries." Everyone around him keeps "dummy" blackberries on hand for him to use to type out his rhymes. So Drake has successfully reaffirmed our coolness by virtue of association with blackberries...

Most rappers do this. That's why Blackberry's infamous keyboard is a perfect fit for this industry.
im a super nerd i get excited to just seem them in real life i love when i go to a public place and look around and every one is walking around stareing into the BB screen it warms me up inside a little but i love seeing them on TV and in movies and yes in get him to the Greek everyone has a BB
In the new BBC series 'Sherlock' (Holmes set in modern-day London), Sherlock Holmes uses a BB Bold 9700. They had a close up of the screen at one point. I was very excited about this, but felt it would be wise not to point it out to my BlackBerry Widow wife:-)

I spotted it in Sherlock too. In fact that's why I came to this thread.
My husband and I both have BBs (Bold 9000s) and when Sherlock's appeared on the screen, we both said 'that's a BlackBerry!'. We're new to this, so it took a bit longer to work out which model it was.
