Well that's unfortunate. My grandkids (and, if I'm 94, probably great-grandkids) will have an unpleasant Christmas that year.
My grandmother (the only grandparent I ever had) died 9 days before Christmas when I was 5. That was a sad Christmas. Took down all the decorations, the tree, etc.
