Well, good news today. MAYBE i gonna have a new Bouviers des Flanders pup in Januari.
It remains to be seen how many buyers are on the waiting list for a male puppy. Gonna know it by monday. Fingers crossed

What always amazes me, is that, other than color and size, most newborn puppies look alike. I just followed a friend's litter of Papillons and then Border collies. I also bred a litter of Standard Poodles. Once they start growing hair, legs, and faces, then you can tell what they are:-)

Since 2004, you can no longer docking the tail here in belgium. And since 2000 no longer the ears

Figured you were in Europe. In the US it is still legal, but I'm sure in the future it won't be.
I do know a few dogs that HAD to have their tails docked as adults because of tail tip trauma. (big dogs hitting their tails on things - an Irish Wolfhound comes to mind), but I much prefer a natural dog.
