Billy does. Max is afraid of them.

Sweet wee Brigid bit Max when Max was a puppy and now he steers well away from her when it's weeeezul play time.

I don't blame Max. A friend I use to live with had a ferret and another friend came over and let it climb on his lap. The ferret got in his face and just as soon as I started saying that I don't know if I'd let him do that the ferret bite him in the lip. I never did trust it.

Nah.....domestic ferrets are....well....domesticated. Been for centuries as ratters and rabbiters, they're phenomenal hunters and very useful to kill rodents.

There is a famous portrait of Queen Elizabeth I holding her pet ferret; it's referred to as The Ermine Portrait. Still used in Britain in the trust areas to clear rabbits.

Wild weasels and stoats are wild, true. And in NA you have the very very very endangered black footed ferret.
