I just have the one black one, the others we met along the way. Two would be awesome but INSANE haha
I always wanted a lab. I was looking for one after losing my GSD Thor. Then I lost Cassie and I happened to come across a phenomenal breeder, and ended up with a golden retriever, my MaxyMax.

I still want a black male lab.

    Test

That is so sad to hear, the bolded part.
Yes it is. I'm not sure what happened to him. The other neighbor was OK, wasn't bitten hard and wasn't pushing for anything. I think he ended up with another friend but can't say. If he did I just hope he doesn't go after anyone else.

Thank you. He helped me heal from losing Thor and then Cassie, in quick succession.

Awesomesauce. They are family and when you lose one you lose a family member. Another can not replace them but they sure can fill a hole that was left and put their own mark on your life.

I've had a rottie that was such a big suck she thought she was a lap dog. She slept under my son's crib and would come and jump on me when he woke up in the night. He learned to walk by pulling himself up on her and then walking beside her. She was the sweetest animal I ever knew. The only time I ever heard her growl was when my cousin was tickling my son and he kind of screamed. She kept a careful eye on that cousin from then on. Lol.

I also had a white German Shepherd. She was a bit more skittish and didn't like cats but she enjoyed climbing trees.

Now I have to go and look through my old pictures. Ah memories.

Ok. I have spent the past 2 evenings going through boxes of photos and can't find the pics. either they were in the boxes lost in our flood a few years ago, or they are stuck on the hard drive of my desktop computer that I keep meaning to get around to fixing (I think it needs a new power source)

Grrrrrr. I know hubby had transferred most of our pics to the computer so I hope that's where they are. They weren't on the external hard drive though which is weird.

Which begs the question - how do you keep your pics safe? I have had a flood and many electronic failures, and thought I still had everything. This experience has taught me otherwise. I'm also missing a lot of baby pics of my oldest son.

Such a bummer. I have pics etc. on an external drive or put them on a CD or DVD but none of them are flawless. Some use cloud storage but many pics can add up to buying more cloud storage. The best bet is to have at least a couple different places to save them.
