I shed a few tears for your loss. The worst part of loving a pet is when it's time to say goodbye. I wouldn't give up all the years of joy, but still hate the heart break.

Yes, and it devastates me. I have rehabilitated dogs who were severely afraid of people. Maybe through abuse, maybe just a personality issue, but seeing them come to life by administering love, makes the whole life they live so important to me. Losing them is indeed, sad, however knowing that I have brought them back from the edge makes it worth every minute of seeing them every day.

Elvis was adopted, as all of our dogs and cats have been and will be. Buying fish for my tank is fine, but never will I purchase an animal. They are way to precious to put a price on.

Thank you Moody. Yes, when they approach that bridge, my heart breaks. For days and months.
