Hello all, KD8ICQ here. My name is Steve from Cleveland, OH! I was looking thru some freeware applications on GetJar.com and I happened across one called "Morse Coder" . Although its no longer a requirement, Its still a fine skill set to have so to make it easier to study on the go, I downloaded this app to my storm and it works beautifully. Its a great way to learn code and it offers a few tests to help you hone your skills. Just point your browser to GetJar.com and search "morse coder" to check it out.

So until next time folks, 73's and 88's

    Hello fellow hams.
KJ4DIN in AL (pin 20A2535). I would love to see some ham apps for blackberry. I have been searching for some for a while.I dont really care what I would just love to have some ham on my blackberry. It does every thing else so why not. Maybe some loggers or ham contacts directories, echolink or morse code apps. Maybe an app for determining the values of various electronic components or repeater directory database, frequency logger. Just some ideas. I think alot of these are available on palm and Iphone

Wow.. Ham related BB apps that would be cool... there are so many things I'd like to see.

An echolink app would be amazing... not a trivial task though.
Morse code apps... how about text-to-code ? or code to text (microphone input, text output)
    GPS enabled repeater directory?
something like HamCalc... tuned circuit equations, velocity factor adjusted feedline calc, stuff like that.

    Anyway... greetings all..

Been active continuously since 1951. Gosh how fast 59 years have gone.

Sure would be nice if we could build up a list of ham apps. One thing I want is a capability of using the pc sub for the keyboard on the BOLD. also being able to type from, pc direct to word or note files on the BOLD.

Every one seems to want smaller and smaller but I wish the BOLD was about 4 times the size. That would tickle me pink. Would even be happy if I had BOLD capability in my 7" eeePC...................

    Hi Scott HamBerry
I mentioned on another area that I would like to see a app that would display lat long for APRS use. Would the USB output be able to send the data to a TNC in APRS format at TNC speed.

I am willing to pay for the Echolink app. I have seen the iPhone version on Youtube and it's a success. Now, how long will it take to come up with the BB version? Don't make me switch to an iPhone....
