I figured it was a natural to have a blackberry and be a ham But seriously I just got my blackberry about a week ago - have not yet found any ham radio apps.

I'm a professional broadcaster, haha. I know that doesn't count. I always thought about getting into ham radio, just never did. I guess I always still could. I would be tempted to use my radio voice though,
I just passed the Tech exam yesterday! I don't have my call sign yet, but I do have a blackberry and was looking for apps that will bring my ham and bb worlds together. Especially the AMSAT stuff.
As I said in my post above, my name is Tim (w8ptt). I have been a ham for close to 8 years (roughly... I think). I am a member of our local ARES team and try to work with the local skywarn group. I have a FT-857D as my "base" rig and love it, great radio. I have owned a Blackberry for a little over a year and now own a Storm, I havn't decided if that is a good thing or not.
I don't think there are any ham applications, although I would love to have one to help me refresh my code. I want to get back into it.
Good to see you all here. I generally hang out on 40M when I am on HF.
