I was wondering how many amateur radio operators we have using blackberry. I am robert KD8BKB columbus ohio. Also are there any ham applicarions out there. I was looking for something along the lines for AMSAT but any ideas are welcome.

I am not a radio amateur but I remember AMSAT very well. I used to use a program called AMTRACK for tracking weather satellites that I used to image back in 1990.
Hello, N3RPV here. I don't know of too many ham apps but you can get to heavens-above.com from the berry browser. I don't know how well any of the graphical tracking works but you can get the next 10 pass predictions at least. 73's
Hello; KD8BTJ here in Michigan I haven't been able to find any Ham apps either but a was able to load my radio manual using mobi reader, makes it so much easier to use
Pete, I'm surprised. With your engineering knowledge and age (no offense), I had you pegged as a 40wpm Extra.
AA4RT here, but not active recently. I'm living in temporary housing and left my HF gear at home.
Ha, I have played with radios quite a bit. Mainly micorwave and satellite systems for big companies. Somehow I never got around to the 2Metre stuff although I did build a tube based HF transmitter back in the early 1960s that had an impressively high HT voltage that hurt like h3ll when it bit me.
My main hobby has always been in audio engineering and recording rather than the ether.
You may not be as old as me yet, just you wait.....

KC5YZD here in Beaumont, Texas... Just got blasted by IKE a couple of weeks ago. I too have not found any apps for BB in regards to Ham. I would totally luv it if EchoLink would make an app....
wy0o (huskerberry) here in Grand Island, Nebraska. Old field engineer but fairly new ham - Got my extra class ticket about a month ago. Built my shack and got my ticket as a gift to myself for 8 yrs sober. Apparently I had a little undamaged grey matter left. What a surprise! Sadly enough it was not due to a lack of effort...
73's and thanks for the CQ call. -huskerberry
