Hang in there, but careful with the diet culture stuff.

Diets are designed to make people feel inferior and not good enough. They don't work. Not exactly a great thing to combine with the stresses of the pandemic. Your relationship with food shouldn't feel like work.

This is coming from someone who tried them all. I live an active, healthy lifestyle, but diets take away from life. They are not worth it.

Trying to move forward after the unexpected passing of my twin brother Don May 15th. My transmission died on the way to my sisters place and hoping things start improving.

Until then, I will continue to try and eat healthy food and learn to adapt doing things without my twin brother. Living the dream in the land of golf courses and palm trees.

So here's my latest COVID-19 from the Gunshine State Of Floriduh, and further evidence COVID-19 in the rear-view mirror for us.

My high school daughters play Club Volleyball and have traveled recently to Washington DC and Omaha, NE and were exposed to mask requirements including while playing on the court.

This weekend, they're back playing in Florida and not only No Masks, that's been over here since the summer 2021, but today, the girls and spectators are now changing the courtsides for the first time since May/June 2020 games.

This might seem trivial but it's been the last real difference remaining to returning to almost normal. Hope others are finally seeing COVID-19 in the rear view mirror in your respective areas.
