Went to the Sushi Zone tonight. Tried something new called a Fireball. It's spicy tuna, spicy crab and a jalapeno mixed together and then battered and deep fried. They cut it into quarters and surround it with a rainbow of spicy sauces. It was sooooo good and soooo spicy:
My pic doesn't do it justice.

Had Ice cream with the kids tonight at the newly opened Dairy Queen...brought back some memories (it's a walk up only)...took this pic looking across the street at our local FD with the sunsetting in the background
Took this the other morning...tried to capture the raindrop on the pine needle
Country Ham and Bacon!!!! What more could you ask for? The following pics are from our camping trip to Cayo Costa State Park near Cape Coral, FL earlier this year. It's accessible by boat only, pack everything in, pack everything out. There was a little cabin we stayed in though.
wLove that mansion SM, and you can never go wrong with sushi. That is, unless you run out.
That storm was perfect John. We'd planned on staying in bed all day. Well, originally we had that planned for Friday, and this I uploaded a taste of Saturday, but... http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&h...&v=ekTfd0Q7FkY Fixed crappy video link
Can't begin to express how cool it was, watching them, and other fighters zipping between skyscrapers.
This guy came out a little fuzzy. Dang bee refused to stay still and pose.
One of the last meals of the trip.
I had another pic I love, but I'm not allowed to post "the eating of the squid".
If you squint really hard, you'll see NYC to the left off the wing tip.
I swear ociffer, I had nothing to do with this shot....

Reason: fixed vid link
Nice video of the Blue Angels! That's another Chicago area thing I've never been to...Air and Water show...I just can't handle the crowds. We usually stick with the Gary Air Show (when they have the ThunderBirds) or the Rockford Air Show (held at the Rockford Airport, with tons of awesome static displays on the ground).
ScionicMan, that Fireball is looking pretty good right now.
As for me, well, I've got Angry Birds on my BlackBerry Bold!
Day started off perfect for a hike...mid 50's, slight breeze, clear blue sky. Didn't get as far as I wanted to, mainly because I kept stopping to take pictures, and I was being stalked through BBM by a Wulf!

Some standouts...
Beginning of the hike
Normally the water level is up to these logs, but they drained the area, so I climbed down and took these pics...thought it was cool how the grass was growing out of the log
It was literally the perfect day...I couldn't have handcrafted a better day.
Good ol' gubmint telling me where I can and can't hike on taxpayer owned property
