08-07-11 03:27 PM - In almost 20 years of camping there, its only rained on us once. Other than this year, it doesn't usually rain here between May and November. Considering this place is near South Lake Tahoe and is almost a mile high in elevation, its more likely to snow than rain, anyway. I've got a friend who always gives me a hard time for not "roughing it", but I can have this baby leveled, opened and ready for sleeping while he's still looking for a flat spot and digging his tent out of the truck.You do realize it's not officially considered camping if you don't use a tent that falls down on you in the middle of a rainstorm, right?
