Good concept, but looks like battery life and vulnerability may be a huge problem to this.

"What makes it nifty is that on the other side of the phone is a second, 4.7-inch display, this one using the E Ink black and white display used in the Amazon Kindle."

Not sure how I feel about that. Is there honestly a need for a second display or is it simply to come across as different?

I remember seeing it a while back and thinking it looked like a cool idea, but as the poster above me said, what's the point? Feel like the novelty would wear off pretty quick

But doesn't the E ink display have no back light?

I'm digging this phone so far from all the reviews!

They adressed a lot of issues that the 1st one had and now it seems that the second one is closer to perfection
I wish the price was lower tho, I would've surely gone for one

Hello, how's the battery life? Is it true it is measured in days as opposed to hours, as the website says? Does it lag? How does the e-ink screen actually work in tandem with the LCD screen? Is it really 235ppi?

It sure looks beautiful, and sets a new standard for android phones. Especially in battery management, if it truly lasts for days.

The battery is measured in days when you have Yota Energy enabled, so you are using the ink screen, and the battery can go on for days. No lag that I have noticed and the refresh rate on the e-ink screen is pretty fast. Some improvement on the refresh rate is required, but nothing that would hinder the experience. The LCD screen is like any android device, you have panels that you can customise on the e-ink screen, with different apps. So if you are looking at the LCD screen, you can mirror it to the e-ink. I'm not sure of the ppi, but it is very clear, in daylight with lots of sun, very visible.

It's a good size, with the rounded curves easy to handle, probably just smaller than a Z30.

I assume you are referring to the e-ink display, it does have the feature of either white or dark background.
