When in doubt; reach for the Reese's...

I may have to change my choice of comfort food as I get older and as my body decides to not be so friendly to me where I practically burn up whatever I eat...but until then (hello chocolate-flavored soy milk)...my Reese's peanut butter cups hold me down.

What's your favorite think to eat/nibble on/munch on/snack on/splurge on whenever you're feeling a bit stressed from work, life, etc. ??

My wonderful wife just served me a warm slice of her home made grape pie. I actually set the BB down for a while. The best part is that there is more to be had. I am thinking maybe 2 A.M. or so :>)

Oh wow, grape pie? Sounds pretty scrumptious. Do you know if your wife makes it out of the green'fare of grapes; or the darker-skinned ones?

Since you mentioned a pie; another one of my comfort foods is warm apple pie with a mound of vanilla bean ice cream on top...mmm, mmm good.

OMG!!!! I LOVE chicosticks!!!!!! You know you can find the minis at walmart, not the same as the stick--they are the size of pretzel nubs. I remember if you had a chico stick you were the envy of all the kids on my block!!!!

The Grape pie was made with the dark grapes from the Naples area of NYS. I hear you loud and clear about home made apple pie with real vanilla ice cream. By the way the pie is totally gone. The 3 grandkids were over, need I say more?

It's amazing how a person may have a certain type of perception towards someone else (whether it be in looks, age, gender, etc.)..but then the perception turns out to be inaccurate. In your case; when you mentioned grandkids; I was like 'grandkids?!?'...I just never had the impression you had kids; let alone kids that have kids :-). Then again I'm sure if I had come across some of your other posts; or read them more carefully...I would have known.

In any case; is the kid reading that fine publication in your avatar; one of your grandkids?
