I have cable internet and phone its resonably priced I would say.
I assume the prices are according to region. I pay 55. For basic cable and another 25. For economy internet. How do these prices compare to what yall pay?

I work for comcast as a comm tech. I do video, phone, and internet installs in commercial and residential locations. Any questions just let me know. I would be more than happy to help in any way I can.

I have the internet and cable package with Comcast.... I pay about 50-60 a month. If only my on demand would actually work more than a day at a time.. lol..but other than that I've enjoyed them and their services.
dont get me started on comcrap. My wife and I were very unhappy with them. We now have Verizon FIOS TV and its great.

Sounds like you guys have signal issues @ your house. The on demand will be crappy if you have poor signal due to bad lines or fittings. I can tell you how to check your signal on that particular channel if you would like so you know what you are dealing with. You just have to let me know what type of cable box you have. Is it a Motorola or a scientific Atlanta?
As for the internet, there is a thing called transmit levels that will slow your internet down. That can be caused by bad line and fittings as well and if it is hooked up correctly. In your web browser type in 192.168.100.1 and find a heading that says signal or diagnostics. Your downsteam should be between -8 and +8. Your upsteam power should be between 30 and 50 but no higher than 50. If it is out of range call comcast and have a tech come out and fix that issue. Tell them your transmits are out of spec which is causing you slow speeds and lost packets, they will understand.
Any other questions or issues you might be curios about ask away. I am happy to help any way I can.

I've had comcast as far back as I can remember. Right now we pay about $130 for cable and internet. I think the net alone is like $65 for the highest tier.
It might be expensive but I love the net speed and I have never had any problems with them.
