I never did get to see Nirvana in concert.

I booked a trip to FL with some friends and later found out that Nirvana was going to be playing in Akron while I would be in FL.

I thought about canceling my trip. My friends talked me out of it and said, "You can always see Nirvana next time." I responded, "But what if Kurt dies?"

Less than six months later, I was devastated at work when I heard the news on the radio.

To make matters worse, I found out that an ex-boyfriend I had broken up with prior to the FL trip had gone to the Nirvana concert.

Nirvana played my campus for FallFest while I was there. Tickets were like $10. I blew it off and figured, "I'll see them next time."

I have a tie for best concert - my first Duran Duran show in 2005. I'd waited 20 years to see them and it was all 5 original members and they played some little known classics for the hardcore. I reverted to 13 years old in the blink of an eye.

Second best was Coldplay on the Viva la Vida tour. There was something magical about 25,000 people singing The Scientist, Fix You, and Viva la Vida. Awesome show live (bonus for Santegold as the opening act).

Missed out on Hall and Oates tickets a couple years ago. I bet they are great live.

I have jawbone shards coming out of my gums ! from using Tapatalk.
