Prior to this morning I was unsure about where the Old Mill Pond was. It's really not a far walk from the Old Mill Pond to the Marquee Steakhouse and Piano Bar and vice versa. Which the CPR pretty much is. I've done that walk up to my folks. If you moved that mark a mile south that would be close.

I cut off the tracks a little before the park and climb up a path and then guess the rest of the way through field and scrub into their back yard. Nice walk, very nice.

I am guessing that straight line you defined wouldn't be a very straight walk, maybe just possibly some terrain in between starting and ending points. Just a guess however, didn't do any research about it. So, might be wrong.

Oh I wouldn't advise that, but I did know an electrician once who would lick his finger and then stick it into light sockets (during residential house construction wiring), to confirm what house circuits were live and what one's were not. So, maybe you'd be fine also.
