Maybe we should establish a similar procedure for the CB 1M thread, in case people get disconnected and the group needs to be re-built.

Given you all seem to want to discuss politics and things that are pretty borderline for here, you should kick off your own group and post those things there because I just cleaned up 4-5 pages of stuff that doesn't belong here. This is supposed to be a thread for all to enjoy, and it has had more reported posts and than pretty much any other threads on the forums. I and the mods are NOT going to continue coming in here and deleting posts. I've said it before, but I'll say it again, just because it's Off-Topic doesn't mean it's free from the rules.

Actually the answer is probably indeed simple, in that this guy just doesn't want to do what is traditionally done for holding higher office, and it remains suspect why.

In Canada, we try to want to have our leaders try to be fully committed, transparently, to the interests of the country (even though that is not ever fully achieveable), not to some sort of possible hidden agenda of personal gain motivation for self or select interest groups. We never achieve that, but I think the bar is really low for what you guys achieved with Trump.

I tried to assess what was in the 4-5 pages that were recently deleted. We are all over the place so much it is hard to know for sure and I am sure the mods are getting tired of spending time having to pick out ones and twos, so wide swaths probably also get applied for deletion. Fair enough also in my books.
