What's the difference between a vegan and a vegitarian?

Vegans don't eat anything that has anything to do with animals -- totally plant-based. Like not even milk, cheese or eggs. It's supposed to be a whole lifestyle thing, not using animal products for anything else, either. Some of them go so far as to research brands of anything to find out who might do animal testing, and they'll avoid those too. And there's a real wacko fringe who won't even cook their veggies -- everything is raw. Most of them don't have all of their original teeth.

The sensible vegans eat veggies and tofu-everything. Tofu turkey, tofu chicken, tofu bacon. I just don't understand the point of tofu bacon.

I've cut WAY down on red meat in recent years ... although sometimes I see a big juicy cheeseburger and all self-control goes down the turlet.
