How many of y’all have personal laptops? To be honest I prefer tablets. I have no need for one. My work dell is fine for anything I need. But I feel this need to buy tech right now. Heidi is doing her best to control it.

I've always had my own laptops and PCs. Never had a tablet other than a PlayBook. I've been pining for a new ThinkPad, even though I know it won't have the old ThinkPad keyboard, which I loved. I still have and travel with a 10" NetBook which is fantastic. (Hah! TWSS)

While I realize everybody comes to me for answers sometimes you just have to figure things out for yourself, not to mention keeping a little extra backup for myself when things are slow, and knowing if you couldn't answer the question now you're not going to be able to answer it later which leaves me the task of coming back and giving you a piece of my mind before answering the question.

I fail to see what cats have to do with anything! And my tongue is neither here nor there. Well I use voice recognition completely I could dig out a keyboard if my tongue got cat.

I have a work issued Dell. It is adequate. Used to use my own Lenovo ThinkPad for work when contracting. It's 7 years old and still a champ. We're it me, I'd get another. You can get them custom built on Lenovo's website. Just pick the model and the components you want.

On the other hand, my wife has an MS Surface. Light weight, full PC capable, with removable KB for "tabletting". I've been tempted to get one myself for personal use.
