    Awww that sucks. :-(

I learned from some Canuck friends what a Caesars was just this year. I'd been making them for years without knowing it was a Canadian thing! I love Bloody Marys anyway, and sometimes I can find Clamato jc at the grocery, so I use that instead of tomato jc. My friends mostly think it's gross but it's like a delicious taste of summer at the beach to me! Especially with horseradish and a couple of shrimp - yum!

Getting hit with a wicked cold. Think I'll drink Caesars instead of beer tonight.

Yum yum! Horseradish thumbs up! On top of that try using gin instead of vodka.

Nope, gin tastes like turpentine to me. i'll stick with vodka.

btw it was "sputneek" who sometimes still posts in here, who educated me about Caesars. So funny that it was developed inland, but uses clam juice! :-D

Canada's first portrait oriented Bill! It celebrates Viola Desmond, a woman of colour, who bought a ticket to watch a movie in a theater and then she was told she would have to sit in the balcony. She stood her ground and sat at floor level! How times have changed thank goodness.

Cool! Like Rosa Parks refusing to sit at the back of the bus! What year was Viola's demonstration?

Did Spudnick give you the necessary inclusions for a proper Caesar? Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco and of course the celery salt rim?

That's weird this was supposed to be quoting the geese in WinterPeg, not something about a menu.

If you enjoy bitter flavours, such as gin and tonic, then I'm sorry to tell you this, but you might be a psychopath.

Psychologists from Innsbruck University in Austria, believe that those who like the bitter taste of gin and tonic water are more likely to show signs of sadism, narcissism and Machiavellianism - so are more likely to derive please from the pain of other people, be cold-hearted, selfish and lack empathy.

Sadism is just having a bad day. You have to wake up every day and the first thing to do is say to yourself that today is going to be a good day. Goodism.
