Mine does okay, unless I stream media all day.

This is a recent phenonemon. I have a 64gb Playbook that I use for myself. It gets constant use. My 16gb barely gets frequent use. I think the battery is degrading from running down in standby and then getting recharged.

My 16 is about the same, a little less with the last update unless it's showing it's age too now

That's why I opted to get the 64gb's... more storage and less pull on the battery.

I don't think that extra storage uses less battery. But that's a discussion for another thread (that I'm steering clear of )
