Batten down the hatches
Stay safe and or get out.
Sounds good and kind of sexy
Very well
Ha!
This is just Mother Nature it’s arrogance of mankind thinking we’re impacting these natural storms...
Our actions simple pimples on the Mother Earth’s butt...
Don’t flat earth this stuff. Trust the scientists. They are called that for a reason. Join the rest of the world and embrace reality.
So we're all aware of Dorian, but there was a Dorian that I knew personally. We worked together back in the nineties and one weekend he invited me and my family to spend the weekend at his cottage at the lake. On arrival I found out that his mother was a part of the deal. I can still hear her..."Dorian did you take your medication? ". No beer or smoking allowed in the cottage and our dog would have to stay outside. Things got worse when he ended up giving me a sales pitch on joining the fraternity of Odd Fellows. Yes he was one for sure and eventually became the Grand Wizard eventually in Manitoba. Well we did not sleep well and I put a plan in action by getting the family up, dressed and out at daybreak to go fishing. We did, we caught a catfish and then returned to the cottage to say our goodbyes because we had to go home to fry the fish.
Weird stuff, but even worse that catfish just wouldn't die, baseball bats, clubs and eventually into the freezer overnight. Took it out of the freezer next day to defrost and the damn thing started moving again. Hurricane Dorian has nothing on my Dorian story.
I believe in changing of the climate as part of natural occurrences. If you want to have me believe the scientists can actually have us change the weather by our actions, I’d love for that natural occurrence. I’m not flat earth anything. I just don’t believe everything someone tries BSing me over
It's the boils and carbuncles that we have caused that are the real issue. Keep your head in the sand.
I've said it before, leave your car running and run a hose from the exhaust pipe to the dryer vent on your house. That is what we are doing to our atmosphere, is that a good thing?
Maybe we should get something real like the Farmers Almanac, or the Groundhog to give us the truth??
What natural occurrences are you referring to? A hundred years ago we didn't have a billion gas burning cars driving around. It takes 15 lbs of air (picture that) to burn 1 gallon of gasoline. Then replace that 15 lbs of air with CO2 and other nastiness.
Even flat earthers knew not to go close to the edge ;-)
Sleep well, Mother Earth still thinks that you are in North Carolina... stay where you ;-)
Methinks someone missed that day in Grade 3 when they taught the greenhouse effect....
Yama, you’re the man.
Don't get me started!! How were the sliders?
I learned it. Difference was I wasn’t forced to go to socialist public school. Florida public schools, at least in my county, really suck....
Delicious.
Come on man, you sound like a cult member. You’re smarter than that.
Went to Catholic School. Not that I would endorse Religion being involved in school or politics as I have taught my children.
We are not socialists in Canada, we simply like to care for our poorest. Sure beats having a crazed Dictator heaping shirt on the poorest.
In other words, I studied the effect but my education was question everything and look at everything as questionable scam. I do believe that mankind I very far still from truly making changes in our planetary atmosphere specifically weather related. As kid, it was a big thing for scientists to study the hurricanes to prevent them for instance. Here we are 40 years later and they’re still coming. Although, I don’t believe there’s anymore intensity but that we’ve just got better measurement.
On side note, I really do believe our public schools here in Florida really are bad. You can look up our school district. Hillsborough County. Florida school districts are by county and some of the largest districts in the country are in Florida because of this.
I’m not a wealthy person but I’ve sent each of my kids to same catholic schools I attended. That said, I do not help my kids with college as if they blow the scholarship opportunities from their alma maters, that becomes a them problem...
I actually went Jesuit high school in Tampa so many I’m a huge believer in Men for Others. I just don’t believe in government involvement. Florida government historically is small due to low taxes. We’ve always known we couldn’t depend on government so it’s a joke to us here.
