Good question. Since I can't take days off of work without being fired even though I've only had 1 in 6.5 years off as sick. I'm not allowed to stay home and rest etc to maybe help me get over it.
Man, what kind of a company do you work for anyways, I don't get that, would they rather have you spreading the germ to everybody else or what?
I exaggerated a little but I'm contracted here. There are only 2 of us and if one misses the other has to work double shifts. We have no one to fill in and the position is mandatory that someone be here. It's not like a lot of jobs where if you're sick you just get behind or someone else does the job while you're gone.
They are supposed to have a fill in person but can't seem to be able to find one or they don't want to since we have both been so reliable for years. Maybe since I haven't been really sick for so many years this thing is making up for that.
My brain hurts.
Awww, now I see, yeah, I will hear about it from my co workers as well but at least I do have the option of sick days, not that I like to use them. Actually our sick days are really up to our managers discretion but the usually allow up to 6 a year paid. Ooops, just used up 3 already, guess I better try not to get too sick for the rest of the year eh. lol
It means they haven't decided on a date. However, they typically put out news on an upcoming phone about two months ahead of impending release. They announce a date around 30 days.
Oh, you found it?
So, my wife wakes up this morning with cold air blowing out of the vents, so has to call maintenance to send a repairman. Has the oven going and a small electric heater running, but now wishes she'd brought the kerosene heater out that someone suggested she pick up about four weeks ago, just in case of a power failure with the storms she's been getting...oh, but it's so hard to pick up, yet there is a strapping teenager there to do the lifting....
No such thing as a sick day here. Mainly I can't make the other guy work 16 hour days for 3 or 4 days in a row or whatever it would take for me to get over this. I'm not sure staying home would be the cure either.
Mernin peeps, late as it is.... working my tail off right now designing some rigged up shnizzle....

Two words: Duct tape. Wrap around your head so when it explodes, it's easier to find the pieces.

A Friday moment to think of warmer climes and blessed anesthesia.
And yet another well-kept secret for duct tape. Brilliant!
[QUOTE=kbz1960;7917755]We just need a few more pages of pantlessness before Q or Renee drop by, and you shoould be ok. For a beer or two, I'll go set up a diversion in another thread...
Although sometimes it doesn't explode, it just kind of does a slow steady ooze out my ears. But I think it'll still work.
