we rode around on our buddies handle bars and clung to a nut with our big toes
they had nice fancy aluminum foot pegs to rest their feet
we built ramps by stacking bricks and 2x4's
they played on big half pipes in their back yards
I wore jorts and fruit of the loom T's to my T-ball games
they dressed like they we're sponsored by starter
I had to push my dad's old wooden, steel wheel equipped "skate board"
they got to jump around and flip theirs in the new Vans and Airwalks
This is how we rolled

Oh yeah, also went to the National Civil Rights Museum at the old Lorraine Motel in Memphis where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968. I also created a "quickie" free Playbook app with some background information and text from his famous "I Have A Dream" speech. I am planning to update it someday with some pictures that I took there and maybe even add some audio, but don't hold your breath. ;)

Like mowing my grandmothers lawn with a lawn mower that wouldn't shut off, until you shut it off. Not because you let go of the handle
Those came after my time.
I was on my way home the other day, passed some of these manics..... somehow I believe I was one of these maniacs once upon a time
