I've always felt a sense of peace when close to the water whether it was the ocean ....or one of the Great Lakes ..... my plan is to retire somewhere on the waterfront .....I just haven't decided where yet. I mean .... I love New England where I lived for many years .....I love the Pacific Northwest and I love the Great Lakes too ....Wisconsin, Minnesota ...Michigan .....I haven't made up my mind yet.

So many Northerners retire to Florida. They call us snowbirds when we show up. A term I find very unflattering.
I can't stand anywhere too hot so it's gonna have to be a little further south of me but well north of Florida. But water should definitely be a feature!!!Pantless opinion.
