    Well, first your body has an internal thermostat. Although slight natural variations in our internal body temperature throughout the day are normal, our temperature should remain within the range of 98–102◦F or in your case 36.5-37.5◦C. We expend energy – or calories – preserving our internal core temperature which remains within a relatively narrow range for life. In fact, we burn more calories attempting to warm our
    body than we do trying to cool it down.So when you are drinking beer you are actually in the cooling off phase as the temperature of the beer is cooler than your body and thus making it easy to lower the bodies overall temperature than if you were drinking coffee.
