I had a pair of shoes like that. Not quite so high, but they were red and black marble.

Had another pair with bell heels, white sides and top with black patent leather heels and toes. They looked like spats. Pretty awesome wearing them with my HS band uniform.

Then we got back home to find that the snowplows had been by several more times, packing in the bottom of my driveway with debris I can only imagine they summoned and materialized from Canadia and other parts unknown, because the street was already pretty clear before we left. Again, nothing about which I could mindfully be affronted. So out came the big ol' orange beastie to do its icy debris-eating thing one more time.

So like, I've done more physical labor this weekend than I normally do in a month, which means it's time again for a well-deserved faceplant on the couch of zero responsibility.
