Uh oh! I'm beginning to think it's a good thing we're getting a delayed release. I'm hoping a patch or two comes out first. My first uh-oh moment was reading about how the functionality of the profiles has been greatly trimmed.

I never made much use of the profiles anyway, although I did always think it was a very cool feature. I am looking forward to checking out the new UI and gestures for myself, a wicked fast browser, hopefully LTE and a bunch of apps I never had access to on the old BBOS. I'm just hoping I can get used to touch screen typing (which so far I have not). Otherwise, I'll have no problem just hanging onto my 9900.

That's the problem... listening to too many different people. Are they even experienced in the new Z10?

There are going to be many maintenance releases coming fast and furious I'm sure. That's the beauty of the microkernal architecture. Engadget did what I consider a fair review in a podcast from launch day. There's some interesting criticism of the whole hub framework that RIM.... er Blackberry should pay attention to.

So true. It will be months/fall more than likely for me. So lots can be done in that time.

I guess I was just looking so forward to it and really thought it would have all of the features and options we already have after all this time.

Give it time. The platform is flexible and BlackBerry will be reacting to issues people have. I have a funny feeling that the Z10 and Q10 will be replaced with newer hardware by the fall. As long as it has BBM, messaging that's as reliable as my current phone, a decent camera, reliable radios, and a good browser, then I'm on board. Information and reliability is all I'm really looking for.

Don't wanna like this post, I had a huge tumor removed from inside my right ear last year, it was so big that I couldn't hear nothing but a hum out of that ear, like a rumbling. I had that stupid tumor removed 3 times, it kept coming back, after a dozen appointments with specialist they finally did a huge surgery and gouged out a big chunk of my ear with it and bingo, never came back, great plastic surgeon, hardly a scar on my chest where he took skin off to graft my ear. Very painful though.....

But a success story none the less!!!!!!

Well, if I'm not blown away by the Z10, I may just wait until somebody comes out with a a high-end landscape slider on at&t that isn't an Android. Now, since BB isn't likely to do one and Apple most definitely won't, the only other possible alternative may force me to do the unthinkable and jump to WP. Eww.

Yeah. I sure hope this long-overdue site refresh that Kevin has been promising fixes that, the disappearing like and thank buttons, and of course the overall pupil-herniating font and color scheme.

My impression is that the Forum upgrade is complete and it's the rest of the site that's getting a makeover.
