Wasn't even a full fill. About 130-140 gallons. I can carry 200.

Sounds like a Northstar. That's one thing I like about my Town Car. Regular 'ol gasoline.

Dual saddle tanks, one on each side, typically. It's a balance thing. There is a crossover line, but it is a slower feed that just circulates the fuel.

Mostly, company equipment will have dual 100s, but some independents run 120, 140, or 150 gallon duals. I know one guy that runs light loads who has 4-150 tanks on his rig.

Ah ok... that's what I thought.... on my travels I have seen the truck places that have a pump on each side for them to fill up faster.

Mine is one of the last 'big' Town Cars. Right before they turned them into fancy Crown Vics. Deep Currant Red with Dark Tan cloth top. Has the 16" wheels instead of the 15s. Gotta do a bit of work to gussy it up, though. Clearcoat on trunk has peeled.

Most of those pumps flow at 60 gallons per minute.

I just looked at the ticket, 150 gallons, 3/4 fill up.

And last night when the truck was acting up, I told her we were going to the shop. Next time I started it, the alarms were gone like nothing had ever happened. I brought an empty trailer back up that had a flat tire on it. We got over 1000 trailers last year that they had installed the valve stems incorrectly, and within a couple months, we were spending thousand of dollars a week on service calls to fix trailer tires. The company that assembled those parts got a huge bill, as we were just one company that got these tires. Our outfit buys trailers in lots of over 1000. We got almost 3000 of them last year. They also buy trucks the same way. We have over 5600 tractors. They finance nothing, they pay for everything outright. There are at least two trailers for every tractor in the fleet.
