One of the biggest songs I remember from my 19th birthday party, spent with a couple of buddies of mine, Jim Webb and Jim Skidmore. We were in Long Beach for a service maintenance and upgrade period, and they suggested we go to a club called the Mardi Gras, where if we got in early enough, I could slip in before ID checks started.

We went in, and ordered drinks. Sat around and nursed them until the machine started cranking up. Danced with a couple of ladies, and started getting a good buzz on. Then the guys noticed a drink special called The Witches Brew. It was a drink for four, served in a bucket. We each had one, consumed by drinking them thru 4' straws. Then Skid had to ruin the fun by getteing aggressive with a guy who danced with one of the girls he was wanting to dance with. We were able to subdue him before a riot broke out, but as soon as we'd stood up, that drink hit us like a freight train. Somehow, we dragged his sorry **** back to the ship, he'd flat passed out. Heckuva way to go, I say.
