That was very odd. You showed as 50K, but then louzer had it when I next posted.

I notice along with the Thanks button thing that pages will often change after a refresh. I'll see several posts at the bottom of a page and after refreshing, it cuts the page off and some of those posts are then on the next page. I've never paid attention to post numbers, but wonder if it did something similar.

Actually, I'm guessing what happened is that both louzer and qnbkelt posted almost at exactly the same moment... but were both on different servers in the server farm. Then when the servers all sync up a fraction of a second later, then the earlier post wins.

So I was on the same server and saw qnbkelt at 50,000... but then after a refresh a few seconds later, then louzer moved into place.

Craziness.
