I have a '94 Dodge Ram. The only thing I had to fix was the tranny. And that was caused by me doing stupid sh1t. Dodge doesnt do most things right but my truck lucked out.

Speaking of Fords, we had a nice V-10 Excursion that was great when your spark plugs weren't flying out. Seems the folks at the head plant made the castings so thin that there were about six threads available to hold a spark plug in the hole, annnnd, of course, it had aluminum heads, so the spark plugs would loosen, then eventually shoot up into random places in the engine compartment, and neatly snapping the retaining mold off of the $90 coil pack, and making a sound similar to an old steam engine in mere seconds.

The pleasure promptly compounds itself when the new, temporary boat anchor must either be towed to a shop, or, a mobile mechanic comes out and charges you to install a heli-coil insert to re-install the plug. After the $300 repair and the $90 coil pack, and new spark plug, then comes the fun of driving the vehicle an additional 80 miles before the next plug comes popping out and begins the process again, except this time it's Sunday, and a tow truck is the only option.

I'm really thinking it isn't about moving forward as much as the continuous motion in one direction. If one is going at a steady pace and continues in the same direction for a set period of time and finally returns to the same spot but doesn't stop they are destine to repeat their steps. In which case they will again go around to encounter the same starting point again and again. I have never understood this type of behavior, but apparently it is quite popular.

It's Newton's Law that a body in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by another force.
