It's would be preferred. Friend of mine has this issue where he just waltzes right in without a call or knock.

He's paid for it on many occasions for, what has been seen, cannot be unseen.

It's just common courtesy. They only places I don't knock are the ones I have keys for. Like my parents house.

Dang I have about 10 pages to catch up on from yesterday! I wanted to share this, first. My brother looks at new guitars like I look at new phones. He thinks I should learn to play guitar so I can get this: Gretsch Masterbuilt*Grape Sparkle Penguin Custom Shop | Rainbow Guitars

Gretch makes some fine guitars. But if you're just starting, it might be overkill. Like phones, people tend to use eBay and Craig's List to trade up. If you're a real beginner, Fender makes starter kits that come with a guitar, a small practice amp, cords, and a soft case for around $150.00. The guitar is certainly low-end, but for the time you are missing the frets on cords while learning, it's quite ample. Then, if you catch on, you trade up. If not, no big loss.

I'd encourage you to give it a try if you're interested. There are hundreds of Youtube guitar lessons that can get you going. It's a lot of fun and the chicks dig guitar players!

I decided that this year I will cook more. Not your average, just throw something together, type cooking, but actual cooking. Last night I made baked trout over a brown and long grain and wild rice bed. With a cucumber dill sauce on top and garnished with dill. Was quite tasty.Attachment 130087

Someone needs to invent transparent pants for the very cold weather. Lacking the penguin feathers on the legs makes is very difficult to brave the cold pantless. Not that I'm not making the effort.

Thank you! It was very good. Next up I have an idea for lamb And I am going to "slum" it a bit later on in the week, Veal Marsala with garlic bread, but hey, cant beat a classic.

I'll be eating more vindaloos this year. There's an Indian market that sells packets of vindaloo "mix" which you just add to a pot of boiling water, let it simmer, add meat/potatoes, and take off the heat when the sauce is the right consistency. It's VERY tasty.

ETA: On the menu for this weekend: Ghost Pepper turkey tacos.

It was clear from your post about getting the peppers as a gift that it wouldn't be long until the Ghost Pepper turkey tacos emerge from your kitchen!

I am very good with Italian style cooking, and some French, though I have never tried Indian. I am also going to be making some authentic Scottish recipes, and if i can find the proper ingredients, Hagus.

As interesting and culturally significant as hagus is, I might just pass.
