Im experiencing a bit of a debacle. I have this shiny new phone and have for about 2 weeks. I hopped over to the xda-dev site and found myself oggling all the different root-kits, ROMS, CM10 builds and the like.

All the sudden my eyes spy this bit of gold. It has everything I want from a ROM. AT&T bloatware removed, LED notifications while screen is on (stock Android has LED disabled while screen is on and it carried over to my device.), better battery life (like I need it), etc. Then I come across this little tidbit notifying users that even if you return the OS to stock your warranty may still be void because select random devices have this b!tch of a thing called a flash counter.

This is a problem because everytime I have a warranty and void it on purpose, something always goes wrong that was covered but isnt because I voided it.

I want to, but then again, I dont.

That's a tough call. If you think you'll be selling it at any time soon, I'd leave it stock.
