They better keep an eye in their rear view mirror, because we're making serious ground on them. Here's the math:

As of today, they have 10877 and we have 9064. They average 51 posts per day, and we average 116. 'x' is the number of days when the post count will be equal assuming the daily average. So solving for x below:

10877 + 51x = 9064 + 116x
10877 - 9064 = 116x - 51x
1813 = 65x
x = 1813/65 = 28 days.

This means that some time around midnight on November 3rd, we should tie them.

Now having said all of that, I also noticed that their topic is in a Verizon rooting forum whereas ours is in the Rehab forum. In other words, posting to the 'Chatter' thread increases their post count, while posting in the 5000 thread does not increase ours. Hint...hint...

We made this change later today based on feedback that we were showing TOO much in those profiles and it was adding to much blank space on the posts (since lots of people seem to make short posts).

We can tweak things ongoing here folks... not married to any changes. Want the site to be the best they can be. I think with this change it keeps things a lot "tighter" but also does hide out some of that info.

It's interesting though... for people who are "logged out" of the forums, which is typically a 5 to 1 ratio compared to members logged in, I think the shorter amount of info showing in the profile is ok... they're really just looking at the answers and content on the posts themselves.

And then for members who are logged in who use the forums a lot... well.. we all get to know the members pretty well, so the profile info becomes very redundant anyways.

So I think maybe it's a happy balance right now. Don't think it hurts any street cred. And hey, when posts are long it's all gonna show.

You should leave this feedback on our feeback thread though too. Don't bury it in here!

I'll jump into the feedback thread as soon as I catch up in this one. Just when you think you're done, there's 10 more posts!
