    I visited Potter's Field once.

I had no idea where it was, but I know the director of the City of Cleveland Cemeteries, since I belong to a local historical society. He gave me the directions.

One would never know it's there, since it is surrounded by a golf course and has no signs.

Actually there is nothing wrong with that approach if you have one on your box. In fact it is a valid test for an electronic component. When you start doing it on the customers dime is when it gets shady because a lot of techs will just leave the new part in and say it needed it anyway.

You would be surprised at the location of some cemeteries. It wasn't till after I started escorting funerals did I discover that I had been driving by some for years and never knew. There is a Jewish one here in Tucson nestled in the foothills next to $500,000.00 and up property. It's still used but you would never be able to find it.

OK --- THE most annoying expression in all of sports: "unanswered points." bar none.

It's bad enough when announcers use it in the middle of a game where, unless they just dropped in from the future, they have no idea if those points will be answered or not, when in fact the only points that are truly unanswered are the last ones scored in a game. But one utter moron actually used it in the absolute most inappropriate context ever: Team A scored 21 unanswered points before Team B kicked a field goal. Well guess what, dooshtwiddle, they can't all be unanswered if Team B answered them, can they.

One announcer in one of the games yesterday said "14 straight points." I wanted to send him a case of his favorite flavored water to say thank you.

If someone ever finds a way to use "unanswered points" in Snooze & Tumors, I think my brain will implode on itself.

I guess I will have to work on that. Because until somebody does your point will be an unanswered point.

I agree, when you know which part to swap. When they just start trying all of them is when I get worried. Back in the 90's, I was going to school at nights for networking certifications. They changed the lineup of required classes, putting the Troubleshooting class at the end of the rest. The reason? Once people had taken that class, it taught most of what you need to know and they were seeing a loss of students.

I've only been able to find the pint cans of it, never the bottles. They come in packs of 4 and cost about $10.

Not only do I love stouts this time of year, but I also love ciders. I picked up some Angry Orchard last night. Good stuff. Anyone else have any suggestions?
I like a Trappist #8 every now and then. I like porters more than I do stouts, so here are a few porters that are good: Anchor Porter by Anchor Steam Brewing, Fuller's Porter by Fuller's London England, and my all time favorite (other than my own home brewed porter) Founders Porter by Founders Brewing CO.

    Pics or it didn't happen!!!
If I took pics, it was probably on my 110 kodak. That was probably in the late 80's, I must have been home on a visit from college. Before I posted that, I must have spent an hour trying to find the set in Google Earth. They must have dismantled it, because I can see our friends place and I've followed all the dirt roads out there but can't find it.

Here's the place with the airstrip where the trucks were parked. You can see the train tracks there as well. It was somewhere down one of those roads within the boundaries of hwy 120 and RedHills Rd. I'll see if I can find out from my dad what's up with it.

Flag Porter is one that always comes to mind. It's partly due to the story. They recovered the yeast from some bottles of porter pulled from an 1800's sunken ship and use an old style recipe. Not easy to find but very good.

On one of my trips to our LA office, they booked me a room at The Standard. It's a hip, trendy hotel that is known for its irreverence. It's the hotel in Get Him To The Greek where Russell Brand jumps off the roof into the pool. I still don't know how I failed to take a picture of the shower/bath which is all made of glass so you could see in from the room, but here is the international symbol to explain what the trashcan is for:

Terribly disappointing to see that Californians need that explained to them, just like Nova Scotia for us.
