Interesting. A bit overkill with the number of videos in my opinion. However, special bike lanes and transit/trolley lanes have been known to result in an increase in accidents initially, until everyone figures them out (same also for roundabouts). So, I guess they are trying to play it safe. I bet the whole thing cost a lot. ...and, it is PEI by the way so it's probably being treated as a big thing.

Well those videos were produced for the Capital of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown, which has a metropolitan population of about 70,000 and it is entirely conceivable that such new infrastructure will cause some confusion for the locals.

In the Peg this is referred to as Confusion Corner.. No overpasses, no underpasses nor roundabout. It's a mess, but it gets the job done somehow..
